R&D Engineer Perovskite

Evolar AB is searching for a Perovskite R&D Engineer to our team in Uppsala, Sweden. As a R&D Engineer you will have an important role in bringing our perovskite technology into a commercial full-scale product. CFO 


Evolar AB is looking for a CFO who wants to take a strategic and operational role for the company´s continued development together with the other members of the management team. We are looking for an energetic person with a structured way of working. You should be prepared to take a broad area of responsibility focused on finance but also be prepared to take an overall responsibility for administration, business support and HR. The company is currently using external service providers for accounting, financial reporting and payroll administration.


Tasks and responsibilities 

Accounting
• Financial reporting and control for the management board and Board of Directors
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash management
• Contacts with the company´s auditor and service providers in the area of responsibility
• Manage planning and securing of continued funding
• Develop efficient procedures for the area of responsibility

Qualifications

Mechanical Design Engineer 

Evolar AB is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to our site in Uppsala. In this role you will be part of our growing Engineering team responsible for developing our thin film deposition tools as well as designing and specifying the future fab for producing Perovskite thin film solar cells. You will work in close collaboration with our R&D and Supply Chain teams as well as external partners.


Task and responsibilities

Mechanical design of our new commercial thin film coaters covering everything from concept development to ready to produce solutions for our customers
• Specify and integrate special machines into the fabrication process
• Design improvements of existing R&D tools 
• Organize and structure technical documents and drawings
• Product cost engineering

Qualifications

MSc in Engineering10+ years of mechanical 3D design and construction of production equipment
• Preferably experience from vacuum tools for thin film deposition
• Excellent analytical, creativity, problem solving, and decision-making skills 
• Ability to communicate and interact with other professionals effectively
• Fluent in Swedish and English, demonstrated communication skills
• Structured way of working

R&D Engineer  


Evolar AB is looking for an R&D Engineer to our team in Uppsala, Sweden. As an R&D Engineer you will have an important role in bringing our perovskite solar cell technology into a commercial full-scale product. We are looking for a target-oriented person with a strong drive and experience from industrial development. Since we are a young company, your role will be broad and your chance and expectations of making a difference is high.    


Task and responsibility 
 

• Design, evaluate and perform experiments in our full-size prototype line. 
• Take an active role in industrializing our thin film processes.
• Management of R&D projects and work packages, including joint projects with external collaborators. 

Personal qualifications
 

• High level of responsibility and engagement with a strong drive to fulfil targets. 
• Enjoys working in a team in a start-up environment. 
• Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Good understanding of physics and chemistry and preferably also thin film vacuum processes.
• Willingness and ability to work hands-on in the lab. 

Experience and qualifications 

• + 5 years years industrial experience
• Experience from thin film deposition and vacuum processes is advantageous. 
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics or similar. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably alsoSwedish.

Supply Manager

Evolar AB is looking for a Technical Supply Manager to our site in Uppsala. In this role you will take a strategic and operational role for the company’s journey towards the market by developing and implementing our supply chain for our product: PV Power Booster Line. PV Power Booster Line is a complete fab for the purpose of producing perovskite thin film solar cells. As Supply Manager you will work together with both our Engineering department, CFO as well as Sales & Marketing. We are looking for an energetic person with a structured way of working. You should be prepared to take a broad area of responsibility.


Task and responsibilities

Develop and implement Evolar’s supply chain
• Overall supply chain design incl role definitions and documentation
• Build equipment and logistics supplier network
• Manage supply to customers
• Contract writing and negotiations 
• Develop sourcing specifications
• Product cost calculations 
• Project Management

Qualifications

+5 years demonstrated supply chain experience from global B2B product sales organizations
• Preferably experience and knowledge of the PV (Photovoltaics) industry
• Excellent technical understanding of complex products
• Solid project management experience
• Understanding of legal terms/conditions, experience of contract writing and negotiation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 
• MSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar
 • Ability to travel internationally
