Evolar AB is searching for a Perovskite R&D Engineer to our team in Uppsala, Sweden. As a R&D Engineer you will have an important role in bringing our perovskite technology into a commercial full-scale product. Since we are young company your role will be broad and your chance and expectation of making a difference is high.

Evolar AB is looking for a Manager Engineering to our site in Uppsala. In this role you will be a key player in our challenging journey towards the market by building and managing our equipment and fab design department. In close collaboration with our R&D and Supply Chain teams as well as external partners, you and your team will specify and design Evolar´s product PV Power Booster Line, a complete fab for the purpose of producing perovskite thin film solar cells. A fab will consist of a set of different equipment of which core ones will have a strict design control from Evolar.
Task and responsibilities
Build and lead the Engineering team
Drive the development of the PV Power Booster Line and the design of key equipment
Cross functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain and Marketing
Build and execute equipment supplier partnerships
Budget control for the team activities
MSc in Engineering
Demonstrated leadership and management skills for Engineering teams
Organizational development experience
Strong customer focus
Well organized with a strong drive
Extensive experience from design of production equipment including collaboration with external partners
Experience of thin film deposition tools and fab design as well as automation is advantageous
Fluent in Swedish and English, demonstrated communication skills
Experienced in IP generation
